Oregon Coast

We had a great time in Oregon last week with Christina's parents. We spent a chunk of time at the coast near Lincoln City. It was beautiful and the kids loved it. The time went way too fast. So many photos to choose from...here's a random sampling.

It didn't take long for the boys to get muddy. This photo was taken within like 15 minutes of getting to the beach...

We stayed in a great condo right on the coast. Clarissa loved the view, as did the rest of us...
This wave surprised me. I snapped the photo, then my feet got all wet...

Elijah really loved walking around and checking everything out...
Carson found all sorts of cool rocks for his rock collection...
Clarissa was always pointing at the waves and birds and whatever else she saw...
Elijah kept stuffing sea shells in his pockets. I think we came home with about 100...

Grandpa walking with Clarissa toward the water...
Carson hanging out in some random stack of logs...

Clarissa playing in the sand...

We flew kites. Elijah has some pretty good skills...

Clarissa insisted on holding the kites and with the stiff breeze didn't have much trouble keeping them airborn...

The boys checking out a starfish in one of the ocean tide pools. There were living creatures all over in there...

Seagulls everywhere...

Spectacular views...

We went to a really cool aquarium with all kinds of sea life and birds. The kids has a blast. We got them to sit still long enough to sit for a photo with grandma and grandpa...

Getting ready to touch starfish and other funky forms of sea life...

More starfish...

Me and the boys...

Clarissa at the aquarium...

A group photo before leaving the coast. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Candland for a wonderful time...
