Christina's side of the family (the Candlands and the Turpins) had a family reunion at the Heber Valley Campground last week. We had a nice, relaxing time. We stayed in comfortable little cabins and had a central gathering area to cook, eat, play games and sit around the fire. There were plenty of fun activities available, including canoeing, paddle boating, sand volleyball, challenge courses and hiking. Our kids had a really good time and got along well with their cousins. It was nice to get away and spend some time as a family in the mountains.

The boys told me their favorite activity was going in the canoes. We went to the lake a couple of times and puttered around in the canoes and paddle boats...
Returing from a brief hike. The boys aren't big hikers and they tire quickly...

Carson and everyone else loved roasting marshmellows and hot dogs over the fire. I think we're all smored-out for a while...
Elijah gears up for the zip line. He didn't actually go down the zip line. He had fun climbing though -- until he lost his grip on the pole and totally wigged out...

Park City 2008
Another annual Jones Park City trip in the books. They come and go fast, and as usual we had a great time and kept busy swimming, playing tennis and golf, eating, relaxing and watching the little cousins play together. They are getting bigger and they get along well and have a lot of fun.
Here we are...

The first complete Jones family photo in a couple of years...

The original Joneses. Good looking bunch if I do say so...

Elijah and I clumsily fell out of this thing a couple minutes after this photo...
