Bees, Caves, Bears and Swings

We've fit quite a lot into the last few of weeks before the kids get back into school on September 4.  Here are some of the things we've been doing.

Bees Game

That cutie stole my cap.

$6 bucks, worth every penny though. Just ask my dentist.

Lijah got a balloon dog from some balloon-maker lady.

Not sure what kind of pose this is. He claims "mommy dumped water on me."

Camping and Mt. Timpanogos

Waterfall up Alpine Loop. We camped a night with the Hutchings and Candlands.

Check out his face.  This is literally like a second after Lijah nailed him in the leg with a rock.
He was super ticked.

Here's the camping clan.  We had a great time.

I think they're all blinking, except Christina.

We hiked up to Timpanogos Cave the following morning.  Here we are ready to ascend.
Clarissa stayed down with Grandma.

The kids did pretty well on the hike. It's not a simple hike and you can literally tumble to your death, but fortunately we had no issues.

Elijah and Grandpa checking out a little cave lake and some (fill in the blank)-ites.

Checking out the formations.

Back in the bright light and fresh air:  Kayden, Carson, Elijah and Boston.  Good buddies, these little cousins.

Hogle Zoo

Clarissa and the Rhinos.

Bear, doing whatever bears do.

Measuring up with the seals and sea lions.

Snow leopard lapping up some agua.

By the polar bear exhibit. Darn thing was asleep the whole time.

Seal, Lijah's favorite animal at the zoo.

Carson getting sneezed on by the elephant.

Backyard Stuff

Carson, our super-jumper-climber boy.

Lijah sticks the landing.

Clarissa, in her "first jump" she enthusiastically said, after recovering and catching her breath from this near death experience.

Some hawk or falcon or something that was sitting in a tree behind our house.
