Oregon and Elijah's Birthday

We recently returned from another Oregon adventure. We had a nice, relaxing time. Christina's cousin Shani graduated from high school and Elijah turned 7 on the same day, so we had a couple of eventful days. Here's some photos.

Clarissa with long hair. Stay tuned.

Carson and cousin Peyton with ice cream.

Grandpa and grandma's driveway is more photogenic than mine.

Elijah had been super excited for his birthday, for about the previous 10 months. He wanted to open a present at breakfast, and hit it big with Utah stuff.

The Cove. The wind was trying to blow me 500 feet off the edge.  I let the kids come out to look , but only one at a time because of the wind.

For Lijah's birthday, all the family went bowling and had pizza and cake.

Pretty good technique for a 7 year old.  And his ball matched his shoes. How about that.

About to blow out the candles. That look on his face captures perfectly the anticipation and enthusiasm he was feeling that day.  I don't recall any child ever being so excited for a birthday.
Christina was commissioned with making a high school graduation cake for a very large group.  The cake was like 2 X 3 feet. She did an incredible job and did the Madras White Buffaloes proud.
Here we are with Shani the graduate.  We're all proud of her and know she has a bright future.

Carson helping grandpa with a little sanding.  He and grandpa also worked on building a birdhouse, that now resides in our backyard.

That's Oregon for ya.

And now, Clarissa with short hair.  Aunt Alex cut it just before we left Oregon.  It was a spontaneous decision but we really love how it turned out.

Love these pictures! So fun to see Oregon and I am glad we've been to the other grandparents house so we can picture where you are, and I am glad that we like them! They can spend time with our grandchildren any time they want to! How did Christina do that neat buffalo!?
Cute haircut Clarissa, we also loved seeing it on skype!
