Elder and Sister Jones

My parents are now serving in the Micronesia Guam Mission. They arrived at the mission home in Guam yesterday. They will begin serving on the island of Saipan, starting this week. We are proud of them and have enjoyed being part of the experience of them receiving their call and preparing to go. They will be great missionaries and will make a difference in the lives of people they meet. They are ready for their missionary experience and have been very excited to get started.

The night before they left, all of the family gathered one last time...

They left very early Friday morning. I took Elijah and Clarissa with me to pick them up and take them to the airport...

Grandma with Elijah and Clarissa. Everyone sure looks chipper for 6:00 a.m....

At the airport before a final good bye...

Off they go. It requires alot of luggage for 18 months away from home. Thank goodness for wheeled suitcases. We love you mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, and look forward to frequent news from the mission field...
