We took a little family hike last Sunday. It's a hike the boys and I took in June. It was lush and green then. Now it's yellow and dry. Some of the leaves are starting to turn, but it's been so dry that instead of turning colors, many of them were just dead and brown. As the hike went on and we crossed a few streams, the boys gradually got all wet and muddy, but they had a blast.
