Seems there comes a time in almost every child's life when they decide that they are capable of cutting their own hair. Well, that day was yesterday for Carson, right in the middle of his first grade class. His teacher was not too thrilled, nor are his parents. He was covering it up with his hand when Christina picked him up. I thought that was kind of funny. He's lost "scissor privileges" at school and has to seek special permission if he needs them. Anyway, he seemed to realize it was a mistake and he says he won't do it again. I told him that when I was in 5th grade, I cut off a good chunk of my eyebrow, also during school. I probably shouldn't have said anything. If he ever does that, we'll know who to blame.
Here he sports the new gap in his bangs, along with a somewhat guilty, embarrassed smile...

Oops! We have been lucky and have not experienced a hair cutting incident. He does look really good with short hair. He's growing up.
We've had many a shirt and other fun materials cut, but yet to have the hair. I KNOW it will come with one of them.
Dad just did his famous laugh when he saw guilty picture #2.
Carson looked adorable today when I saw him and I hope you let him keep it short from now on!
Oh my gosh!!!! I guess that is a right of passage for kids anyway. I really like the shorter do on him, what a man!
I love the mug shots. The long hair is the classic Carson look, but I think he looks so handsome with short hair too!
