The boys keep their mom very busy during the day and we all have alot of fun in the evenings playing around the house, but we look forward to this spring and better weather so they can get rid of some of their energy outside.
Carson is really starting to increase his vocabulary. He is still working on putting words together, but has a few favorite phrases like "I'll do it," "One minute," "I'm comin' mama," and "thanks daddy" (or mama). He's very independent and doesn't usually like a whole lot of help with anything he's capable of doing on his own. He continues to explore the world and tries to figure out how things work.
Elijah is now crawling up the stairs all the time, but is still unable to go down them, so that presents some problems. He's also able to pull himself up on things and then plop himself down. He's eating quite a variety of things now, from Cheerios to cottage cheese to graham crackers, but he's at the stage where he requires a complete clothing change after every meal and snack. (sometimes it would be nice to have a dog-vacuum around).
Here's Carson at the model train show we went to last weekend. He had fun looking at the trains and riding in the miniature train for kids...
Elijah loves his toys and spends a lot of time playing with them...
